Informative Seminar by Dr. Jonathan Pearce on Writing a Successful Grant Proposal
Dr. Jonathan Pearce, Programme Manager in Translational research, Medical Research Council, has provided a seminar for the Improving Children's Lives initiative on getting research funded.
Dr. Pearce is involved with the new, rigorously-assessed Developmental Pathway Funding Scheme, set up by the MRC to help strengthen the translation of fundamental research towards patient benefit.
He presented a seminar giving advice on how to be successful in the competitive area of grant applications. The seminar was targeted to those working with children to advance their healthcare and well-being.
